Jim Messina and his Jesters!!

Yes the same Jim Messina from the uber gay duo Loggins and Messina. In 1964 a 17 year old Jim Messina put out "The Dragsters". This is a great surf album. Jim Messina does not publicly acknowledge this release, which is a real shame because in my opinion it is one the better instrumental albums from that period. The Dictators Blood Brothers!!

My favorite album from Handsome Dick Manitoba and the boys. Another great late 70's rock and roll album. If you are a fan of bands like the Ramones then you will definitely "get" The Dictators. It should be noted that the intro to Snakes of Christ by Glen Danzig was directly ripped off from Minnesota Strip (track 4). New Link!
