It's that time of year again! So I am little late but in all fairness this is in my archives anyway and is still my Halloween go to! Get your Halloween dance on!Archived post can be found here along with the Return of the Living Dead soundtrack!
Here is one to look out for- Red Hot Rebellion. These guys describe themselves as The Ramones meets AC/DC meets Motorhead. It is a pretty good description from the couple of tracks I have heard. Whatever you call it, it's fucking Rock and Roll and it's raw and loud the way it should be!!!!!
Here is a kick ass album from San Fransisco's Radio Reelers. Great band with a old school sound. Rock n Roll played real fast! HERE>
Today I bought a comp off of Itunes called A Fistful of Rock'n'Roll Vol.5 . I absolutely love comps like this because I always find cool fucking bands like Aerobitch.. The lead singer fucking shreds..
Here is an awesome rock album from Boston's Upper Crust.. First off they have a great gimmick and secondly get ready for some AC/DC style rockin and some really fun songs.. Make no mistake these Lads are top notch... Get It..
Eddie Legend is the man from Japan. Mad 3 is a garaged out fuzzed out noise mostly instrumental band from Japan. Eddie Legend is one of my favorite guitar players period. The guy tears it up with tons of noise and attitude and does it with a Gretsch! I will be posting more of his stuff in the future. His current project is Hell Racer, currently available on Itunes Japan. So until I manage to get my hands on his new album enjoy 17 tracks of Mad 3.

Jim Martin was the iconic guitar player for Faith no More. With his red rimmed glasses and custom flying V it was not hard to miss Jim laying it down for the boys back in the day. After FNM put out Angel Dust Jim left the band because he did not like the direction FNM was taking. In 1995 Jim Martin dropped his solo album entitled Milk and Blood. Milk and Blood musically is pretty typical for the era. The guitar sound is killer and classic. Always reminded me of white zombie for some reason.. This album is getting really hard to find.
Hailing from Argentina, Zorros Petardos Salvajes is a fuzzed out, garage, surf/rock band worthy of being on a blog like Kick Ass Rock and Roll! As the kids put it, these guys are off the fucking chain! If you like Switch Trout or the Mad 3 you will definitely get this band. The opening track on this album is Crash course in Brain Surgery!!! That alone should make this worth the download..... Overall sound is raw with lots of fuzz...
Awesome band from Denmark. Ive been jamming to these guys alot.
